Angel’s Antiques welcomes hidden treasures

Hidden away on the Columbus Parkway in Opelika, Alabama, is a 68,000-square-foot antique and flea market that attracts people from all over the Southeast. It’s name is Angel’s Antiques and Flea Mall.

Started by a financially-struggling American family, the Brewers, the store has soared tremendously since first opening in August 2002.

Since then, more than 400 vendors have rented from Angel’s, including Tommy Carter, who owns eight booths at the store. Angel’s continues to provide antiques and knick knacks of all kinds to any Opelika resident or traveller looking for great deals.

Angel’s Antiques and Flea Mall was started by Bill and Connie Brewer in a closed-down Walmart in Opelika. They named the store after their daughter, Angel, who has down syndrome and went through open-heart surgery at three years old.
